Time Magazine has named Power Line — which led the expose of CBS’s effort to bring down a president — as the "blog of the year."
Power Line is outstanding (check out this excellent post yesterday on “Teaching the Free Man”), but I think the award should have gone to Glenn Reynolds’ Instapundit (currently averaging about 133,000 visitors per day) or Charles Johnson’s Little Green Footballs (currently averaging about 70,000 visitors per day) — both truly unbelievable efforts that contributed immeasurably to the creation and maintenance of the blogosphere.
And for the Jewish Blog of the Year, the First Annual JCI Award goes to . . . Boker tov, Boulder — the remarkable effort by pajamahadeen Anne Lieberman.
The passion and power of BtovB is exemplified by Anne’s first item yesterday — composed and posted on a Sunday morning before most of us finished breakfast.
For doing this consistently over the course of the last year, multiple times a day, every day (except between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday), thanks and Kol Hakavod.
