Josh Mandel Campaign Issue

Josh Mandel is a 31-year old Republican seeking a second term in the Ohio House of Representatives.  He has a law degree from
Case 
Western Reserve 
University and has served two stints in
Iraq as a Marine Corp intelligence specialist.  He’s considered a rising star in the Ohio GOP.

JCI readers know that he gave a remarkable speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition at the Reagan Library this past summer.  (The videos are here and here).

Joel Mowbray reports today that Mandel has been targeted by MoveOn.org affiliates and that his opponent has raised both his religion and his service an issue in the campaign.
