 Report on the Gaza War

The Israel Defense Forces opened a YouTube channel on December 29 containing daily footage of the IDF operation in Gaza.  Above is a 2:42 video showing a team of terrorists loading rockets — destined for innocent civilians — onto a truck.

The video shows the extraordinary pinpoint operation of the IDF, as well as its extraordinary patience (roughly two minutes and 30 seconds longer than anyone else in the world would have waited) in order to insure the nature of the target and the precision of the response.

Earlier today, America’s Voices in Israel held a briefing for bloggers on the Gaza operation, in conjunction with the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the New York Consulate.  The call featured Jeremy Issacharoff (Deputy Chief of Mission in the Israeli Embassy in Washington) and IAF Brigadier General in Reserve Relik Shafir, who spoke from Ashkelon. In response to blogger questions, they made an extremely articulate and informative presentation – evidence that Israel is learning how to fight the media war as well as the one on the ground.

The bloggers that participated on the call included Anne Lieberman of Boker tov, Boulder!, Carl in Jerusalem of Israel Matzav, Omri Ceren of Mere Rhetoric, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, Bennett Ruda of Daled Amos, Jerry Gordon of Israpundit, and Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit.  You can read their accounts of the call by clicking on their blog names above, as well as my own account at contentions.
