Assembly Bill No. 221, providing for divestment by California’s state pension funds from companies doing business in Iran, comes before the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, May 16.
It is important that the members of the Committee hear from organizations and individuals in support of the bill. At the prior committee hearing, the staff of the Committee noted more than 200 individuals had contacted the Committee, in addition to various organizations. Do your part.
