Tales of Tenet

 Tales of Tenet

The May issue of COMMENTARY is out, with an important article by Brian M. Carney on “Lessons of the Libby Affair” that summarizes the common understandings of the case and concludes that “[i]n fact, it is a tale of something else entirely.”

Among those who do not come out well in the story is George Tenet — who likewise does not come out well in a separate story in “What Tenet Knew, When He Knew It, and Whom He Told,” in today’s American Thinker.

But neither article is as devastating as Andrew C. McCarthy’s article in yesterday’s National Review Online:  Tenet Does “60 Minutes’” — which is essential reading for understanding how and why we got where we are today.
