Tee Ball at the White House

Tee Ball at the White House

Friday was the opening game on the South Lawn of the White House in the President’s White House Tee Ball Initiative, started six years ago (in what seems like a different century). General Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was the Tee Ball Commissioner for the game between two teams selected by Little League Baseball in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Seven-year old Zane Ellingwood was the Game Ball Presenter to President George W. Bush. Zane founded "America‘s Littlest Heroes," in which he delivers balloons and dresses up as a clown in birthday parties for military children whose parents are overseas.

And Paul Morse took a picture of what looks like a play coached by Soccer Dad, and then took one worthy of  Michael Yon.
